Made of polished type 304 stainless steel and an eyebolt is attached to the top of the stanchion to affix pennants. When anchored properly, the Backstroke Stanchion stands 7'-6" (2.29m) above deck level. The Stanchion can be used to suspend backstroke flags over competition pools in most geographic areas.
